Description:

This landing was named after Bill Schwabacher, a local entrepreneur who ran a sawmill in the area during the early 20th century. Today, the landing is known for its abundant wildlife, including beavers, moose, and a variety of bird species. One of the main attractions at Schwabacher Landing is the Snake River Overlook which offers breathtaking views of the Teton Range reflected in the calm waters of the Snake River. The best time to visit is during the early morning or late afternoon when the light is soft and the reflections are particularly vivid.
