Angel Terrace

Angel Terrace is an ethereal phenomenon composed of lime deposits left by cascading salt-rich water. The landscape is constantly changing as the deposits quickly build up and erode in a perpetual cycle. Amazingly, this spot was dry for decades but in 1985 the hot springs became active again. Just before the loop ends and the drive rejoins the Grand Loop Road is a small parking area for Angel Terrace.
