West Virginia may be known for its coal but it also has a rich agricultural history. This open-air museum is a living piece of the past - with live animals, original buildings, and a country store. Innumerable artifacts are housed in the building and you can enjoy working demonstrations at the blacksmith shop, herb garden, newspaper office, doctor's office, loom room, sawmill, and carpenter shop. Even though it is free, a donation for the upkeep would be appreciated!
