Description:

Used as barracks during the Civil War, this church was heavily damaged during the conflict. Another church was built nearby, thus St. John's remained in its ruined state. Some of the walls still stand; a glimmer of its former beauty still shines through. Melancholy yet ethereal, this is a favorite spot for locals to visit.
