Project Greek Island

Saves: 9
Check-ins: 1
One of the many remnants of the early Cold War years, Project Greek Island was a bunker built under the Greenbrier Hotel. It was an expensive undertaking - a shelter built underground in case of a nuclear attack. Truly something out of "The Twilight Zone," this giant bunker is a glimpse into the mindset of Americans in the 1950s. The tickets are $30 per person but you get a thorough 90-minute tour of a bomb shelter that may once again be relevant today.
