First visited by Washington in 1748, this bathtub is where he would make subsequent journeys to this natural spring used by many in those days to heal various ailments. The stone was added recently - Washington most likely bathed in a pool lined with sand and rocks.

March 3, 2022 There were leaves in it and I did my best to clean out what I could- I was using sticks laying nearby! Haha! The water is warm and it’s a pretty neat experience!
