Berkeley Springs Castle

Samuel Suit's third wife, Rosa - 29 years his junior - was the inspiration for this sprawling stone palace. Samuel did not live to see its completion and instead commanded that his wife finish the task to inherit his fortune. So she did and burned through his money by the time she was 50. She was forced to sell the sandstone castle and retired to a small farm raising chickens.
