Description:

The Red Fox Inn & Tavern in Middleburg, Virginia dates back to 1728 when it opened as Chinn’s Ordinary and it has served as a stagecoach stop, Civil War hospital, and gathering place for nearly three centuries. It later became known for welcoming travelers, locals, and notable guests as one of the oldest continuously operated inns in the country. Today the tavern highlights seasonal Virginia Piedmont cuisine with favorites such as crab cakes, blackened salmon, rack of lamb, and its popular beef tenderloin burger. The Night Fox Pub also draws visitors with elevated pub dishes, craft cocktails, and a warm historic atmosphere.
