The Jeffersonville silo murals, painted in 2016 by artist Sarah C. Rutherford, transform two former Bell Gates Lumber silos into a sweeping visual narrative of the town’s past, present, and future. The north silo features an elderly farmer’s face and seasonal imagery, while the south silo depicts a child alongside elements like a barred owl and gazebo, symbolizing continuity, growth, and community pride.
