Description:
The Wire Pass Trailhead to Buckskin Gulch hike near Kanab, Utah is an easy to moderate slot canyon adventure that covers about 3.5 miles round trip if you go to the junction and back. Expect sandy washes, narrow winding canyon walls, a short scramble, and some sections that may hold water depending on recent weather. Spring and fall are the best times to visit since temperatures are comfortable and flash flood risk is typically lower. A day use pass is required and can be purchased online or at the trailhead.
