This historic site on the Hole-in-the-Rock Trail is a great way to see firsthand how settlers moved across the U.S. territories to find a new way of life. These hardy pioneers used covered wagons and managed to build shelters. Some of the original wagons are still on site while the cabins are replicas of the originals. The replica co-op store serves as the Visitors Center and Gift Shop. Admission is free! (Submitted by Trisha Phillips)
