Dallas' first and oldest park, Old City Park preserves a collection of historic structures and furnishings dating back to 1840. The park presently dedicates its space to the dual purpose of educating and commemorating history, providing affordable studio space to local artists from the Cedars Artist Union, offering recreational opportunities and relaxation, fostering agricultural development and research initiatives in collaboration with East Dallas 4H, and acting as a versatile venue for a wide range of events suitable for both adults and families throughout the year.
