Historic Palace Theater

After a long hiatus this historic theater reopened in 2018 with "The Post" starring Meryl Streep. Before, the building had sat vacant in danger of deteriorating to ruins. It was first built in 1929 - a 300-seat multi-purpose auditorium. Movies, beauty pageants, and vaudeville acts were only a few of the events to be seen. Today, the restored theater is a nice place to see older film classics at a great price. (Submitted by CJ Boales)
