Big Tex

Big Tex stands tall at 55 feet (17 meters), serving as the iconic symbol and marketing representative of the yearly State Fair of Texas, hosted at Fair Park in Dallas, Texas, United States. This towering figure has transcended its physical presence, becoming a cherished cultural emblem of both Dallas and the entire state of Texas. Since 1952, Big Tex has dutifully played the role of a cultural ambassador, warmly welcoming visitors.
