Raccoon Mountain Caverns

This cave system is a multi-dimensional experience for visitors. Not only can you explore the depths of the caverns but you can camp on the grounds, pan for gems, sit by a campfire, hike around Lookout Mountain and Raccoon Mountain, or shop in downtown Chattanooga during your vacation here. Cabins are provided for the out-of-towners who don't have a mobile home. The Crystal Cave Palace Tour is a walking tour through the stalactites, stalagmites, and soda straws that cover the rounded walls.
