Arch Rock GSMNP

Arch Rock is a geological formation located along the Alum Cave Trail in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The large rock formation is believed to have been formed over millions of years through the process of weathering and erosion. The formation is named for the natural arch that has been eroded out of the rock which creates a picturesque setting for hikers.
