Atalaya Castle

This castle was built in 1931 as the home of Archer Huntington. Its namesake, Atalaya Castle in Spain, is an example of Spanish Andalusian architecture which blends Spanish and Moorish styles. Huntington was especially knowledgeable in the area of Spanish studies and his enthusiasm for the subject led him to build his home in the Moorish Revival style. Located by the sea, this castle is an inexpensive and idyllic way to spend your day.
