Description:

The Willow Hill Covered Bridge in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, is a charming 93‑foot wooden bridge built in 1962 by Roy Zimmerman using salvaged timbers from two older structures, Miller’s Farm Covered Bridge (built 1871) and Good’s Fording Covered Bridge (built 1855). Featuring a single span double Burr arch truss design reinforced with steel hanger rods, it spans Miller’s Run and is painted red with traditional white-trim portals typical of Lancaster County covered bridges. Although shorter than many of the county’s 28 historic bridges, Willow Hill is one of the most visible, positioned right along U.S. Route 30 near the American Music Theatre and Rockvale Outlets, making it a convenient and photogenic stop for travelers in Pennsylvania Dutch Country.
