Description:
The Hadany Arch in Muncy, Pennsylvania is a striking 100-foot-tall steel sculpture that stretches over the roadway leading to the former Lycoming Mall, creating a dramatic “drive-through” art experience. Designed by Israeli sculptor Israel Hadany and completed in 1978, its twisted form creates an optical illusion that appears to shift from an arch to a figure eight as you approach from different angles. Made of weathering Corten steel, the structure has become a unique roadside landmark and enduring symbol of large-scale public art in the region.
