This stone hexagonal schoolhouse was built in 1837 by Quakers Richard and Mary Edge Pim in Chester County, PA. Its purpose was to provide early education to their nine children. Weighing a remarkable 75 tons, this distinctive structure originally stood on Edge Lane. However, in 1968, it was moved from the Edge Farm to its current location in front of the Caln Township Municipal Building on Municipal Drive. Recognizing its historical significance, the stone hexagonal school building underwent restoration in 1971 and now serves as a municipal landmark and museum. (Submitted by Kelli Seeman-Smith)
