Tillamook Lighthouse

This special lighthouse sits atop a basalt sea stack and is known as "Terrible Tilly." Deactivated since 1957, Terrible Tilly was given the morbid task of storing urns holding cremated remains. It has been owned for decades by Eternity at Sea Columbarium and can apparently only be reached by helicopter. To get a good view of the lighthouse you'll have to hike from the parking area at Indian Beach (approximately 2.8 miles round trip).
