This pine green Victorian-style house is also known as "Castle on the Hill." It was built in 1888, designed by architect Walter Pugh. Perhaps the most important landmark in Eugene, the house features intricate interior and exterior woodwork, an ornate veranda, and a polygonal tower. It's perhaps one of the best examples of Queen Anne Revival architecture on the West Coast. (Submitted by Jason Night)
