Description:
The Ole Bolle Troll in Portland is a whimsical, larger-than-life wooden sculpture by Danish environmental artist Thomas Dambo, standing about 19 feet tall and crafted entirely from recycled materials as part of his Northwest Trolls: Way of the Bird King public art project. t’s installed on the grounds of Nordic Northwest in Southwest Portland where the troll appears to be peering into a tiny red house, inviting visitors to engage with the story and surroundings. Ole Bolle blends folklore, sustainability, and community creativity, encouraging people to explore nature and rethink waste in playful, imaginative ways.
