In commemoration of the Oklahoma Centennial, sculptor Jim Gilmore crafted and dedicated "The Guardian of the Plains" in November 2007. This magnificent work of art was proudly erected as part of the Pride in Sapulpa Project by the Sapulpa Chamber of Commerce.
