In the height of the Depression an unemployed man named Ben decided to do something beautiful with his time. His project started with a fish pond. But it slowly grew over the next few years into an entire miniature kingdom with houses, statues, and a castle. Ben died soon thereafter in 1944 but his rock garden is his legacy - a beloved attraction even today.
