Description:

The Silo Mural in downtown Minot transforms the old grain-elevator towers into a massive 360-degree work of art that reflects the region’s land, labor, and heritage. Created by Australian artist Guido van Helten, the photorealistic figures were inspired by stories from local residents including ranchers, oil-field workers, and Indigenous community members. Recognized as the largest mural in North Dakota, it blends seamlessly with the industrial skyline and invites both locals and visitors to see the heart and history of the state in a new way.
