The Whittling Wall

The Whittling Wall in Mount Airy pays tribute to local icons who have played pivotal roles in shaping the town's history and culture. Sculpted by North Carolina artist Brad Spencer, this remarkable wall features representations of key figures like legendary musicians Tommy Jarrell and Fred Cockerham, radio pioneer Ralph Epperson, country singer-songwriter Donna Fargo, pioneering educator L.H.
