John Coltrane Statue

Jazz saxophonist and composer John Coltrane is one of the most influential musicians in the world. This 8-foot statue of the legend, complete with his sax, is at the northeast corner of High Point City Hall. Placed in his hometown, High Point, the statue is accompanied by a dedication and description of his life, cut short at 40 years by cancer. (Submitted by LaRita Stephens)
