Fontana Dam and Visitors Center

The Fontana Dam Visitors Center is located near the dam and offers visitors a chance to learn about the history of the dam and the TVA. The center has exhibits on the construction of the dam, the TVAs role in the development of the region, and the impact of the dam on the surrounding area. Visitors can also take a guided tour of the dam to see its inner workings and learn about the process of generating hydroelectric power.
