Description:

The buildings date back to the 1800s and they include a church, school, post office, and a number of homes. It seems peaceful enough but that's because it's a ghost town! A few people still do live in Walpack Township which is part of Walpack Center but no one lives in the buildings on Main Street (all the buildings on Main Street except the school are owned by the National Park Service). The township is peaceful, quiet, and darn near spooky. And to anyone who depends on GPS, you can forget it when you visit here! Even Google Maps won't show roads that don't exist!
