Description:

Located on the northern tip of Long Beach Island this lighthouse offers a panoramic view of Barnegat Bay and the surrounding island. Established in 1951, the lighthouse was an important landmark for coastal vessels. Activities around the lighthouse include an interpretive center and a self-guided loop trail through a maritime forest as well as plenty of bird and wildlife watching.
