Sugar Hill Lupine Fields

Stalks of bright purple flowers cover the landscape for a few short weeks in June. This is lupine - a fast growing and hardy plant that can withstand extreme temperatures to bloom again the next springs. They also regulate nitrogen levels in the soil, making it hospitable for growing vegetables.
