Pemigewasset River Covered Bridge

Built in 1886, this pretty covered wooden bridge is high over the Flume Gorge. A convenient foot path is built alongside the bridge as it is accessible to vehicle traffic. The footbridge allows visitors an excellent view of the gorge and the covered bridge. Located in a quintessential woodsy New England are, the bridge is a gorgeous sight any season - but especially pretty in the white winter, decorated with a Christmas wreath.
