Mount Washington Observatory

Perched on top of Mount Washington, this observatory was founded in 1932 and continues to be a leader in weather and climate research. This world-renowned center is open to the public although you have to register for a tours. During your visit, you'll get to meet and talk with the scientists, see how they make forecasts, and the instruments they use to conduct their research.
