Hunter Creek Waterfall

Be prepared for a long walk when you visit this waterfall; it is accessible via a 6-mile trail loop. Located on the outskirts of Reno, this park is a nice getaway from casinos and vices. Most visitors recommend going when the weather is cooler due to the lack of shade along the path. At the end of your walk you'll be rewarded with a 30-foot waterfall. While you're hiking, keep an eye out for rattlers especially if you're bringing your pet with you.
