History of Suspended Time LV

Located at the entrance of the resort's southwest casino, Gonzalo Lebrija's "History of Suspended Time" sculpture represents the tangible and enduring manifestation of a prior performance. In this earlier event, the artist utilized a crane to elevate a restored Valiant Duster above a lake, subsequently plunging the car into the water while capturing the spectacle with a high-speed camera. Strategically placed, the 2,500-pound 1966 Ford Galaxie welcomes visitors, embodying an image of impossibility brought to life.
