Eldorado Canyon Gold Mine

Located in Eldorado Canyon, just 45 minutes from the Las Vegas strip, is the richest and most famous gold mine in Southern Nevada (with still a million in gold inside which would cost more than that to mine it)! Take an interesting mine tour lasting over an hour, shoot some amazing photos, tour the ghost town, and rent kayaks and canoes for use on the nearby Colorado river. The mine has been the backdrop for two movies and you can still see the props that have been left behind. Surely an interesting and historical site to see!
