This is Nebraska's newest state park which straddles the Niobrara River. The park protects the location's biology and scenic significance while allowing the public to view the state's highest waterfall. The falls are located on the south side of the river where hiking is limited only to established trails to protect the plants and prevent erosion. On the north side of the river picnic sites, camping (tents), restrooms, concession, and pay showers are available.
