Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge

It's rare that you see a bridge of this magnitude created only for pedestrian and bicycle traffic. Opened in 2008, the bridge is 3,000 feet long (just over 1/2 mile) and rises 52 feet high with one end in Iowa and the other in Nebraska. The border between the two states is clearly marked. Look for the interactive spots where you can scan a QR code to get some more information. The bridge is connected to several trails and you can park at the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail Visitor's Center. If it's full, there is a public paid lot across the street.
