Chief Mountain is a striking peak located in northwestern Montana, near the town of Babb. It's a prominent landmark in the region and is considered a sacred site by many indigenous peoples, including the Blackfeet Nation. Chief Mountain is located within the boundaries of Glacier National Park, but it's not part of the park itself. Instead it's part of the Blackfeet Indian Reservation and is managed by the Blackfeet Nation. Visitors to the area can access the mountain via the Chief Mountain Highway which offers spectacular views of the peak and the surrounding countryside.
