Bannack Ghost Town

Saves: 37
Check-ins: 5
Named after the Bannock tribe, this ghost town is one of the better ones - with over 60 historic and well-preserved buildings to explore. Like many ghost towns, this one rose to prominence in 1862 with the discovery of gold but deteriorated rapidly the following year. The last residents left in the 1970s. Some of the dozens of buildings include a doctor's office, hotel, saloon, miner's cabin, church, and jail.
