World Chess Hall of Fame

This building has the distinction of being the only institution of its kind - and is dedicated to collecting, preserving, and displaying chess as it progresses through the years. Inductees are named and include the infamous Bobby Fischer who died in Iceland in 2008. Many may find the outside more interesting than the inside - a giant King piece marks the entrance and a life-sized chess board with pieces decorates the sitting area.
