Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum

At the Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum and Gift Store you can learn the history of the Ingalls Family in Walnut Grove. The collections are housed in many different buildings such an 1898 depot, a chapel, a little red schoolhouse, an onion-domed house, an early settler home, and a covered wagon display. Here you can also see on display memorabilia from visits by the stars from the "Little House on the Prairie" TV series! Other exhibits include a display of more than 250 dolls from the 1870s to the modern day, many books, souvenirs, bonnets, and aprons, plus a quilt owned by Laura and her daughter, Rose, and much, much more!
