Gooseberry Falls

The thunderous roars of the Upper, Middle, and Lower Falls of the Gooseberry River plummeting through the rocky gorge is the highlight of your visit to Gooseberry Falls State Park which is known mainly for its spectacular waterfalls but it's also known for it's river gorge, log and stone structures, wildlife, and the Lake Superior shoreline to boot! Depending upon the season, you can hike or ski to see the Fifth Falls through the forest and camp, picnic, and relax along the Lake Superior shoreline or the Gooseberry River. There's also a North Shore Waterfall Tour and a self-guided tour with photos.
