Big Sable Point Lighthouse

Saves: 10
Check-ins: 2
This black-and-white striped lighthouse stands 112 feet tall on the shores of Lake Michigan. It was constructed in 1867, a beacon that has proudly kept guard for more than 100 years. It's open seasonally and visitors will be treated to a docent-led tour as well as a chance to browse the gift shop. Be prepared for a long walk in the sun (approx. 4 miles round trip) and a long climb up to the top to the lighthouse for spectacular views. (Submitted by Rebecca Ostlund)
