These intricate doors adorned the entrance of the Salada Tea Headquarters in Boston's Back Bay neighborhood. Established in 1892 by Larkin, the Toronto-based company pioneered the packaging of tea in foil, laying the foundation for the contemporary tea bag. Salada's remarkable success led to its relocation from Toronto to Boston in 1917, where it settled into a specially crafted building designed by architects Densmore and LeClear.
