Description:
The Ralph Waldo Emerson House in Concord, Massachusetts, was built in 1828 by the Coolidge family and purchased by Emerson in 1835. He and his wife, Lidian, made it their home, where Emerson wrote many of his significant works, including "Nature" and "Self-Reliance." The house became a hub for the Transcendentalist movement, hosting notable figures like Henry David Thoreau and Margaret Fuller.
