Thomas Point Lighthouse

Also known as Thomas Point Shoal Light Station, this beacon is situated in the famous Chesapeake Bay. It is the most recognizable lighthouse in Maryland and also the only one that remains in its original location. While it still is in operation it is open to the public but only three months out of the year. If you have your own boat you can take a self-guided tour. Otherwise there are boating companies that will take you out to see it.
