Ghost Fleet of Mallows Bay

Saves: 27

This small, eerie bay on the Potomac is regarded as the largest ship graveyard in the Western Hemisphere. That's quite a feat for the small state. Not dozens but hundreds of ships rest in peace here, most of them wooden steamships from the WWI era. Most were obsolete by the end of the war and were moved out of site to Mallows where they remained - providing shelter to birds and other wildlife.
