Free and open to the public year round, Cylburn Arboretum is a flowering work of art. The attractions do not only include plants; the carriage house has a natural history of Maryland's flora, fauna, fossils, and geology. The Cylburn mansion features watercolor paintings of Maryland's wildflowers. For those of us with furry companions, leashed dogs are welcome here.
